utah house of representatives districts H.B. 251, Post-employment Restrictions Amendments

Speaker Greg Hughes, Representative Mike Schultz, Founder and CEO of Domo Josh James and Managing Director of Signal Peak Ventures Brandon Tidwell held a joint press conference Friday, March 4, 2016 to announce the benefits and support for H.B. 251, Post-employment Restrictions Amendments.

“Clarifying this issue will lead to a more dynamic economy, strengthen our workforce and allow us to become an even more attractive destination for entrepreneurs, investors and highly-skilled workers,” said Speaker Hughes.

“Non-competes are bad for our industry and bad for employees. Employees shouldn’t be treated like indentured servants,” said James. He is set to make a major announcement during the press conference.
